3RD GRADE: PROJECT TOPIC 2: MY HOUSE   El proyecto del tema 2 de inglés consistirá en describir mi casa usando el verbo  have got  y  there is/are , siguiendo este modelo: I live in______________(primero el número de mi casa y luego el nombre de la calle en español, seguido de la palabra STREET si vivo en una calle, o AVENUE si vivo en una avenida), in Zafra. I live in a flat/house. My house is big/small, old/new. It has got two/three /four... bedrooms, one/two...bathrooms, one kitchen, one living room, a garden and a garage. In my  bedroom  there is a bed, a table bed and a window. There are many toys and books. My favourite room is my bedroom. I like my house!!

Ahora nos toca escribirles una carta a nuestros amigos franceses, la semana pasada ya se la escribimos a los compañeros de Italia. Para ello vamos a seguir el mismo modelo de descripción física: pongo mi nombre, mi edad, donde vivo y el nombre de mi cole y posteriormente digo el color y longitud de mi pelo, tamaño y color de ojos, mi altura, si llevo gafas (glasses), flequillo(fringe), cola (a pony tail), o si tengo pecas(freckles). Para poder entender de una manera más clara como se alimenta una planta hemos realizado un experimento en clase de bilingüe que nos ha llamado mucho la atención. EXPERIMENTO DEL APIO EN COLORANTE:

El proyecto final de la unidad 1 será realizar un Family Tree( un árbol genealógico) sobre su familia. Para ello rellenarán una ficha como la que figura a continuación y dibujarán a cada miembro de la familia. Por último explicarán quien es cada uno usando la siguiente estructura: - She is María, she is  my mother. - He is Juan , he is my father. - He is Miguel , he is my brother. - She is Ana, she is my grandmother.

  Vamos a comenzar el curso practicando diferentes técnicas para dibujar nuestro nombre:  DOODLE:  Es una  técnica  de dibujo muy sencilla, sólo necesitas un papel, un rotulador de punta fina y ganas de divertirte. Por ejemplo: GRAFFITI: Es una modalidad de pintura libre, destacada por su ilegalidad, generalmente realizada en espacios urbanos. Su origen se remonta a las inscripciones que han quedado en paredes desde los tiempos del Imperio romano .  ZENTANGLE:  El zentangle es un método de dibujo basado en las formas abstractas , suaves, orgánicas, elegantes y estructuradas.

MY SUPER ANIMAL This is_______________________ It is big, fat and  strong. It has got a long tail and two strong lion's legs. It has got elephant's ears, they are grey and very big. It is grey and black. It can run very fast and jump very high but it can't climb or swim in the water.  It likes eating chips and chocolate but it doesn't like eating meat or fish. I love my super animal!!!

Los alumnos tendrán que hablar de lo que les gusta hacer en su tiempo libre usando los verbos: LIKE( gustar)/ LOVE( encantar)/ I DON'T LIKE( no me gusta)/ ENJOY( me divierto). Todos estos verbos van seguidos por un verbo acabado en - ING, por ejemplo: I enjoy reading books/ I love riding my bike,...   In my free time I enjoy going to the country with my family.  WE go to the countyside on Sundays. I love playing with my sister and my father.  I also like listening to music at home and reading books. Heronimo Stilton is my favourite book. I don't like watching football on T.V. and swimming in the sea. The water is very cold!!

MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL  My favourite animal is Panda. It has got four legs and it has got a tail. It has got a lot of hair. It is black and white. It is big and fat. It can walk and climb. It can't swim. It eats bamboo and it lives in China.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION My name is ______________ and I am nine years old. I have got brown eyes and a small nose and a big mouth. I have got  long/ short and brown/blonde/black hair. El primer projecto del tema 6 consiste en inventar un robot que dibujaremos y describiremos lo que puede y no puede hacer. This is my robot. It is called/ its name is____________________________. It is big and very intelligent. It has two arms and two legs. It walks slowly. It can do my homework, dance, sing and speak. It has a screen on its body. I can watch films on it  and I can listen to music. I can also play with it.  I love my robot because it is my best friend. It always helps me!!!

Al finalizar el tema 4 los alumnos tendrán que elaborar dos breves proyectos finales, el primero de ellos será el siguiente: 1.- Escribir una breve redacción indicando las obligaciones que tienen en casa y en el colegio. Tienen que usar MUST/ MUSN'T/ CAN/ CAN'T. Tienen que seguir esta estructura: WHAT MUST I DO EVERYDAY? My mame is Ana and I am eight years old.    At home I must tidy up my bedroom, I must make my bed everyday, I must lay the table, I must clean my teeth and I must take my dog for a walk. I musn't clean my shoes and I musn't do the washing up. At home I can watch T.V, I can listen to music and I can play with my sister. I can't shout and I can't play with my tablet. At school I must listen to the teacher, I must do my homework, I must put my books under my table and I must be quiet. At school I can play with my friends in the break and I can go to the toilet. Al finalizar el tema 4 los alumnos tendrán que realizar dos proyectos; el primero de ellos consistirá en  escribir sobre su libro favorito, para ello tendrán que seguir los siguientes pasos( Pupil's book page 43):  MY FAVOURITE BOOK 1.- My favourite book is called... 2.- The author's name is... 3.- THe story is about... 4.- THe characters are called... 5.- I like it because... MY FAVOURITE BOOK My favourite book is called the Bremen Town  Musicians. Its author's name is Grimm brothers. The story is about four animals: a donkey, a rooster, a cat and a dog. They liked music a lot and they wanted to go to the city of Bremmen to become famous musicians. They lived a great adventure together. The characters are called: Donkey, dog, cat and rooster. They haven't got any name. I like it because I love music and animals and it is an story about animals.

En el tema 4 estamos repasando los números ordinales desde el 1 al 20.

Para repasar, reforzar y ampliar lo que estamos aprendiendo en esta unidad. 

Como ya estamos finalizando el tema 3 los alumnos/as tendrán que elaborar un proyecto final que consistirá en escribir a cerca de lo que hicieron el fin de semana pasado. Para ello, deberán utilizar los verbos en pasado que hemos aprendido por el momento: - BE: WAS/WERE - HAVE: HAD - DRINK: DRANK - EAT: ATE - GIVE: GAVE - GO: WENT - TAKE: TOOK - SEE: SAW - DO: DID LAST WEEKEND... Last weekend I was very busy:  On Friday I went to school, then I had lunch at home and after that I watched TV. In the evening I did my homework, I took my dog for a walk, I had dinner and I went to bed at half past ten. I was vey tired. On Saturday I got up late and I took my dog for a walk. I went to my grandparents´house to have lunch and after that I had a siesta. In the evening I had a terrible head-ache so I went to bed very soon. Como ya estamos finalizando ele tema 3, la próxima semana los alumnos/as tendrán que entregar una breve redacción donde expresarán en inglés que hacen a diario. En el tema 3 vamos a aprender a decir la hora en inglés( en punto,y cuarto, y media y menos cuarto) Para responder a la pregunta: What time is it? ( Qué hora es? siempre comenzamos diciendo: IT IS ..... más la hora: It is 9 o'clock Sin embrago, para decir a que hora hacemos algo pondremos AT seguido de la hora: At 9 o'clock I go to school

Dentro de una semana, disfrutaremos juntos de esta obra de teatro. Mientras, vamos compartiendo con vosotros algunos vídeos y coreografías. 

El próximo lunes 15 de enero asistiremos a una representación de una obra en inglés: The teeth, the mouse and the monster. Será a las 10,30 de la mañana e iremos  1º , 2º Y 3º al instituto Suárez de Figueroa. Aquí tenéis un vídeo sobre la obra y unos audios: video audio
